Long waits, small menus, good desserts, and bunnies By Sarah.

April. Spring. Fresh starts. FINALLY meeting.

Dear LORD! How long was it between meetings? December? January? Waaaaaay too long. We finally met again for lunch on April 24th. We went to a tea room in Plano not far from where I live called Patti's Place Tea Room and Bakery. This location was really quite cool. It is in the Wells House.

A day in the Life of Dorothy

So today while at work I am helping a customer.  My boss asked me to call his insurance agent so that we could get proof of insurance.  While I try to call the agent the customer needed to leave so I hung up with the agency to let the customer out, since we were already closed. So then as the customer was leaving I asked him if we had his phone # in case we needed to contact him if we had any problems, so we preceded back to my desk so that I could right his number down.  Then the customer leaves and I call the agent, and give the spill " This is Dorohy Spradlin calling fom XYZ Bank and I am calling because we need proof of insurance and to my surprise I called the customer and not the agent, he kept saying maam, maam,I am sorry and then laughed histarically till I realized and tought what was so funny, he then said this is me, the customer I just left the bank, he kept saying this is not the insurance company, it is the customr...........Like duh, what was I thinking.......I felt all the blood rush to my head and I was so humiliated as this was a brand new customer and a first impression, of course the customer was so very sweet and understanding-thankfully!!   So then everyone at the bank knew what had happened which made it worse.  How embarrassing.

The sad thing is that this happens all the time, Help me Lord!

New Blog is up! By Sarah

Hooray!

The new blog is up!

In an effort to make our web posting easier for all of us, and quicker to update we have changed from a traditional website style page to a blog. Aren't we trendy?

It is my hope that this will lead to more posts, not just about chicken salad, light fixtures, and bad waiters but about life. I hope to see this blog flooded with posts about our day to day activities, our husbands and kids, our struggles and triumphs, and our spiritual walks with God. From the most mundane tales of house work and jobs, to the excitement of new experiences and our monthly meetings, I hope that not only will this blog be used to encourage us but others as well.

Welcome to the new and improved royalsilc.com!
